Vintage "Service a Foie Gras" Silver In Custom Wooden Box Elegant. An elegant vintage service for Foie Gras that could have other uses such as any pate or cheese, quince jelly etc. It consists of a wire cutter which will cut cleanly through the Foie Gras with a serving slice to transfer to the plate.

Probably made in France the wooden box has brass clip and chain size 15.5 x 20.5 cm. The box has space for the two components carved out of 2 pieces of solid wood with two slightly different colour parts (see photos). The metal parts are probably silver although there are no halls marks and no EPNS mark which would be true if made in France so the metal specification is uncertain and reflected in the price.
