Dip the work piece in a colour solution immediately after plating for the desired finish in 30 to 60 seconds. The Satin Black zinc kits also contain the cadmium yellow and clear\blue colourings. Like the satin black colouring they greatly enhance protection against corrosion. Clear / Blue colouring gives a bright silver finish or if left longer will impart a blue sheen.

Yellow/Gold colouring gives a gold finish with outstanding corrosion protection characteristics. Black Satin and Olive Drab colouring are also available. All of these finishes provide long lasting protection against corrosion. Based on the commercial electroplating system we use for our own restoration projects, this kit gives professional results for the DIY enthusiast.
