I have listed for your perusal a early19th century bronzed Base or Britannia metal medallion plaque of Lord Byron. Its original ebonised frame has long since parted company over the years. The artist Crawford was a Glasgow Die-Sinker, in the early 19th century. Ii BY CRAWFORD, bronzed base metal round medallion, head and shoulders, profile facing left, signed'Crawford' on the truncation, inscribed on the verso of the frame'Medallion portrait of the poet...
