ADY - 999CS Kiln Offer for UK-Mainland only. This kiln is available only as partly pre-paid order. It take about a month to produce. Thanks to the thick insulation 999CS kiln with Ramp PID Temperature Controller, provides uniform temperature distribution which promotes quality of the quenching and tempering of the long, up to 120cm objects; steel swords, sabres and machinery parts. Technical wise, kiln uses an industrial PID controller system with a K-type thermocouple temperature probe for stable performance and simple operation. For empty chamber, and 850°C temperature, temperature fluctuations is -5 and +1°C. Kiln is energy efficient and for its size uses only 4600W, which is 20A of the single phase 230V power and delivers a good. It is especially designed for metal heat treatment. It can reach 850°C in 80 min and maximum temperature 1000°C in around 120 minutes.

The 999CS kiln requires as a power source 32A, 230V, Single Pole, RCD protected Socket. Heating element is protected by build in RCBO circuit (32A). To switch OFF/ON heating element. And hidden Leaf Switch under the door, which using Solid State Relay disconnects the Mains Power from the heating element when the kiln door is open.

The PID Controller Circuit is not protected by build in RCBO circuit, it has separate Mains Switch on the front panel and is protected with 3A fuse. This arrangement allow to switch OFF the heating element and observe decreasing temperature on. Red LED, mounted on the front panel will go OFF only when both, the Rotary Switch and hidden Leaf Switch will be in the OFF position, confirming the power applied to the heating element is OFF. The kiln door hinge allows to open the door in horizontal position and leave it open on top of the kiln in stable position, to ensure the door's very hot surface never faces towards the user and furnace opening is not obstructed in any way from all sides. Kiln is equipped with internal fan to cool the electronics inside and shouldn't be switched OFF until furnace temperature will drop below 400°C.

Attention: The kiln is new and the signs of heat are due to a manufacturing process and production test only. We also have in offer smaller, 300mm deep kiln 999CL, 400mm deep 999CXL, 600mm deep 999CXXL and 400mm deep 1150CXL which can reach 1150°C, you will find them listed in our shop site ady-electric-kilns. INSULATION MATERIAL: VERMICULATE, CERAMIC FIBER BLANKET & ROCKWOOL.

HEATING ELEMENT MATERIAL: 0.8 mm KA1 (FeCrAl A1) wire. SENSOR TYPE: K - type THERMOCOUPLE. APROXIMATE DIMENTIONS OF KILN (mm):360(w)x1350(d)x370(h). DIMENTIONS OF CHAMBER (mm): 250(w)1200(d)150(h). CONNECTION: REQUIRED 32A SINGLE POLE POWER SOCKET.
