Ornate gilt to covers and spine. Comprising symmetrical foliate tools in a continuous oval pattern. Front hinge is cracked though holds very well indeed. Fairly recent headcap leather repair, possibly new head band. Finished with bright metal centres, corners and working clasps!!

Bumped at some time just below reverse top outer metal corners. Resulting in a crease to adjoining leather which feels a little soft. LEAVES bright, crisp & clean with occ. Staining / light toning only. Architectural title page a little toned and lightly chipped at foot. This & first leaf Genesis with small old stain mark nr. Beautifully ruled in red throughout.
