Surface Grinder Attachment for Oregon Blade Maker belt grinders - for skilled knife, axe & sword makers who understand the set up & workings of a surface grinder. 12" long by 2" (+- 0.08) wide permanent magnetic chuck with sine feature. Thin out or taper any knife making metal that sticks to a magnet (vacuum chuck for non-ferrous materials in the design phase). 4" diameter by 2" wide serrated rubber coated contact wheel. 1.5" by 1.5" solid aluminum tooling bar, the norm for serious knife making grinders.

Easy to read digital linear scale, inches & millimeters. Durable bushings on all sliding parts. Stainless-steel guide rods & lead screw. 1/2 Thick aluminum backing plate.

Attaches directly to any of our Oregon Blade Maker belt grinders (also works on select other of the heavier duty grinders that accept 1.5 square aluminum tooling arms, it will not work with machines that use cheap steel tube tooling arms). Please note that you will receive exactly what's shown in the first picture; you will need an Oregon Blade Maker 2x72 belt grinder to make this product work. Also note that this product is only for at home hobby use to make knives, it is not an industrial precision surface grinder.
