I called Phil and his team who stayed open so that I would have time to travel and collect a 250A Mig welder. Two years later it's been absolutely flawless and welds brilliantly. I was not disappointed and the new machine performs perfectly.

Mounted on a custom-built frame, with castors, our welders are assembled with care and tested by ourselves so that we can confidently guarantee them for three years knowing that if there is a problem we will be able to fix it. We have been repairing MIG welders and generators for 30 years now. Our Warriors are fitted with Soft Start, (Wire is fed slowly until arc is struck resulting in much easier and spatter free Arc Striking, also tangle free welding when using soft aluminium wire). WE FIT A GAS SAVER DEVICE THAT WILL CUT GAS CONSUMPTION BY APPROX 40%. We fit a plastic spool cover and a plastic outer cover to ensure that the welding wire is protected from the elements and the outer cover also provides better electrical insulation. We only use SY(flexible armour) mains cable. We fit four roller wire feed which provides a much stronger wire drive than any two role counterpart and has a much finer pressure adjustment making it ideal for feeding soft aluminium and flexcord wire. In order to make the Warrior 250 more portable we fit it with a custom designed frame complete with castor wheels. We fit a very good quality PARWELD Pro 4 metre Torch to our Warrior 250, and a heavy duty earth cable. The warrior is supplied with a top quality single stage 2 gauge argon regulator. The Warrior 250 MIG is a very reliable, easy to use, high quality Inverter MIG Welder. It is highly portable weighing only 33kg (including a 5kg wire spool).

It can take 15kg reels 0.6, 0.8, 1.0 and 1.2 mm MIG Wire. It has a highly efficient design, allowing it to run off a 5kVA generator (212Amps).

I bought a Warrior 250A MIG from Phil at the beginning of February and everything arrived promptly and securely packed, along with an offer from Phil for all the telephone help I needed. Im a hobby welder although, with a big boat (52ft) undergoing completion plus friends with big boats (trawlers), this can amount to quite a bit of welding.

This welder runs beautifully with lovely welds and negligible spatter. Ive used it on steel from thin plate (3mm) right up to attaching 20mm end plates to 5mm walled 4½ inch tube plus assorted items in the 12 -15mm range. I switched from stick welding to MIG as I tend to get everything galvanised and any traces of flux from stick welding doesnt take galvanising, leaving unprotected patches.

Im a (recently) retired industrial chemist who used to have his own company MIG welder for stainless prototyping and development. It was a well known make but a pig to use. This Warrior welder is a joy to use.

My brother-in-law (recently finished a TIG course) gave it a test run and also pronounced it excellent. The lads with the garage next to my boat storage requested help as their welder had broken down so I lent them the Warrior until their replacement part came.

They were full of praise for the Warrior and vowed to replace their welder ASAP, despite it back running after repair, as they now know how a good welder should perform. Theirs was the same make as my pig. Ah well, at least the company was consistent. Cutting 12 or 15m steel with an angle grinder is becoming a pain (generally in the ear from my wife).
